RESTAURANT IN KSA |
Liza Riyadh is a Lebanese restaurant and lifestyle dining concept located at Bujairi Terrace in Diriyah, Riyadh, one of Saudi Arabia’s most prominent cultural and dining destinations. The restaurant is part of the international Liza brand, founded by Lebanese entrepreneurs Liza Asseily and Ziad Asseily, and aims to bring the spirit of Lebanese hospitality and cuisine to a global audience.
The Liza brand began in Paris in 2005, when Liza and Ziad Asseily opened their first restaurant to showcase Lebanese cuisine and culture. Over time, the concept expanded internationally, including the opening of Liza Beirut in 2013, followed by additional locations and collaborations.
The founders envisioned Liza as more than just a restaurant. Their goal was to create a place that combines food, design, music, and social interaction—reflecting the warmth and communal traditions of Lebanese hospitality.
The brand’s motto, “Beyrouth je t’aime” (Beirut, I love you), reflects its dedication to celebrating Lebanese culture, lifestyle, and cuisine wherever the restaurant opens.
The Riyadh branch marks the brand’s entry into Saudi Arabia and is part of a collaboration with the hospitality group MJS Holding. The restaurant opened at Bujairi Terrace, a historic district in Diriyah that has become a major culinary hub in the Saudi capital.
According to the founders, Riyadh was chosen because of the city’s growing cultural and dining scene. The restaurant aims to contribute to this evolving environment by offering a dining experience centered on shared meals, social gatherings, and Lebanese hospitality.
