INGREDIENTS | 
- 4 egg yolks
 - 4 egg whites
 - 60g milk
 - 1 tsp vanilla extract
 - 80g sifted cake flour (or sifted all-purpose flour)
 - 45g castor sugar
 - ½ cup powder sugar
 - Knob of butter
 - Maple syrup
 
PREPARATION | 
- Mix well together the yolks, the milk, 1tsp vanilla extract and the flour.
 - Prepare the meringue with the 4 egg whites using an electric mixer.
 - When it is slightly foamy add the castor sugar (divided into 3 parts). Mix more and then add the sugar gradually.
 - When the meringue is stiff add it gradually to the egg yolks. Fold well.
 - Place in a greased skillet and send it to the oven for 8-9 minutes.
 - Remove from the oven and cut with a sharp knife a cross shape just on the surface. Send it back to the oven for 10-12 minutes.
 - As soon as it is ready, sprinkle it with powder sugar, add a knob of butter on the center and serve it with maple syrup and some fresh cream. Enjoy!
