École Ducasse Abu Dhabi Studio has announced the appointment of celebrated pastry chef Juliette Handal, marking a significant milestone in the school’s ongoing mission to deliver world-class French culinary education in the UAE.
A distinguished graduate of the École Ducasse Paris Campus, Chef Juliette brings a wealth of international experience and creative flair to her new role. Her career includes tenure at elite French establishments such as Hotel Lutetia and Cheval Blanc Saint-Tropez, as well as serving intricate plated desserts at CUCINA by Alain Ducasse in Hotel Byblos Saint-Tropez.
At the Abu Dhabi Studio, Chef Juliette will lead immersive pastry courses, develop innovative recipes, and contribute to high-profile culinary events. Her arrival is expected to infuse the school’s pastry program with fresh energy and contemporary finesse.

Beyond traditional patisserie, Chef Juliette is certified in vegan pastry by Richard Hawke, has mastered mirror glaze techniques in Costa Rica, and studied artisan ice cream under MOF Luc Debove. This eclectic skill set underscores her dedication to culinary innovation and diversity.
Her appointment reinforces École Ducasse Abu Dhabi Studio’s position as a leading force in regional gastronomy. With Chef Juliette at the helm of its pastry arts program, the Studio is set to become a hub for culinary creativity and excellence in the Middle East.
