CHÂTEAU KEFRAYA MARKS 34 YEARS OF HERITAGE WITH THE LAUNCH OF BRETÈCHES 2022
Château Kefraya marks 34 years of heritage with a celebration that bridges Lebanese art and fine wine. This year, the renowned winery unveils Bretèches 2022, a special-edition bottle graced by the artwork of Lebanese painter Cynthia Raphaël. Her creation, Les Heures Suspendues, transforms the bottle into a poetic tribute to Lebanon, a country where beauty, resilience, and nostalgia coexist.
Raphaël’s work captures the soul of Lebanese life through the image of balconies, those symbolic thresholds between private and public, home and horizon. “The balcony is an in-between space,” she explains. “Half inside, half outside, like Lebanon itself, a country suspended in time, where we live by fragments.”
Bretèches 2022 reflects that same balance, a fresh, elegant red wine, distinguished by silky tannins and notes of red fruits. It embodies Château Kefraya’s enduring philosophy: that Lebanese wine is not only a product of the land, but a living expression of culture and art.
Through Les Heures Suspendues, Château Kefraya continues its annual tradition of uniting creativity and craftsmanship, offering wine lovers a bottle that tells a story, of place, of memory, and of a nation suspended between past and future.
