INGREDIENTS | 
- 2000 g Dawn® Premium Raised Donut Mix
 - 100 g fresh yeast
 - 980 g water
 - Dawn® Glossy White Icing
 - Food coloring: red and blue
 - Sugar sprinkles: red, white and blue
 
PREPARATION | 
DONUT DOUGH
- Add all the donut dough ingredients to a spiral mixer.
 - Mix for 2 minutes at a slow speed, and then for 10 to 15 minutes on fast speed.
 - Cover the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes.
 - Sheet the dough out to a thickness of 9-10mm.
 - Cut out donuts using a ring donut cutter.
 
BAKE
- Proof the donuts for 40-50 minutes at 38°C with 85% relative humidity. Cover the dough during proofing.
 - Allow the donuts to air dry for 10 minutes.
 - Fry each donut for approximately 1 minute on each side at 185°C.
 - Allow the fried donuts to cool thoroughly.
 
FINISH
- In 3 separate bowls, add DAWN® Glossy Icing Vanilla .
 - Heat the DAWN® Glossy Icing White to a temperature between 40-45°C for a good dipping consistency.
 - Add red coloring to one bowl and blue coloring to another.
 - Dip the top of each donut in one of the three heated glossy icings.
 - Decorate with red, white, and blue sugar sprinkles.
 - Allow the iced donuts to set or dry before serving.
